Westwind Residents Survey
What do you think of the Westwind Community?
Are there any issues you would like to see addressed?
Should there be changes to the Rules?
What improvements could be made?

The Social Committee and the Board of Directors would like
to know how happy you are with the Community Park and
hear any suggestions of how any improvements could be
made.
If you click the link below it will open a survey form for you
to complete. It will only take a few minutes.  Then submit
the form.
Indicate whether  you reside in WW One or WW Two
We await your comments.

Dunedin
Florida
Hurricane Irma
Westwind Fared Well
with only minor damage
In the few days leading up to the expected arrival of Hurricane
Irma, Westwind residents and snowbirds were preparing for
extensive damage and even total demolition of our beloved
Florida homes.
As the days drew near for Irma making landfall, it looked like
Tampa bay would get the brunt of the storm.
But, as in 2004 when Hurricane Charley was due to hit
Dunedin, it took a 90 degree turn and hit Porta Gorda.
We were spared and we have miraculously escaped again.
There was some relatively minor damage and John Schoen
and Terry Brandt supplied me with these photos.
Who would have thought on Saturday that this would be the
total damage at Westwind?  .... and the power was restored
very quickly.
                                                              Gerry Grant
Perhaps the worst damage
was sustained to lot 411
A Tree came down on Jim and Claire
Sprague's home on 3rd  Street
8th Street
One of a few trees
that were blown over
A feast was arranged to
salvage the food that was
defrosted in everyon's freezers
Tom Finnigan kindly
examined all the
park and listed each
lot where he could
see any damage.

details.
Thanks Tom!
